U-BLOG 3

Well, thus far in class its been a little rocky but i've been managing to get the work done. However, it seems like assignments are coming closer together by the moment. There are still a few thing i dont understand but I'm doing my best to get the help i need so i can pass this course. In lesson 3.7 I didnt fully understood what we had to do but after emailing Dr. Keane she broke it down for me. In lesson 3.6 choosing Three workshop training topics were easy because I wanted to pick something that I use to have trouble in.

1. Shopping Safely Online, such as knowing when/where/how to use your personal information etc..........2. Learning How To Surf The Internet(safely), being aware of harmful sites, spam mail, viruses etc...........3. Correct Use of Computer, How to start up the computer and remove devices properly such as a (USB DRIVE) and shut down the computer the right way.


These topics are very useful because unfortunatley i've seen a lot of people fall for scams, by putting there personal information in online. One of the major scams i see is when they ask if you would like a payday loan, and they get you to type in all your personal information including your checking account numbers etc........ Before you know there withdrawing money out of your account even if you didnt get the loan. Its very important to shop safely online and know when to use a credit card cause some people dont even read the fine print that websites have up.
